so maybe not Virginia

at least not for now. at least not right now. we are going to put together a bid tomorrow night with our realtor on that house we looked at. so, depending on things like inspections and financing, we could be owners of a house in Drexel Hill within a few months. it's not Virginia, or Switzerland for that matter, but it's a decent neighborhood, a decent house, and hopefully a good investment, just needing a little "sweat equity", as our realtor puts it.
of course, a twin in Drexel Hill is not the pinnacle of our ambitions--so frankly, if this works out, it should keep us in the area for a few years, long enough to fix up the house a lot enough to make some profit on the deal. Brian's already anticipating fixer upper projects (hopefully more attractive than our efforts at cat tower building so far) and finances, and me paint colors and decor. give us a few years and see what happens next...that is, of course, if this works out. Don't want to get excited prematurely.
